at JWP Elementary!
My name is Mrs. Wolff. I have been teaching in the JWP district for 30 years. This will be my 16th year teaching second grade. My husband and I have four children. Dan is 25. He is married to Melanie and has one child, Emma. Dan and Melanie are students at MSU, Mankato. Allison is 23, and is married to Nathan. They live in Cleveland, MN where Allison is a paraprofessional at the school. Nathan does construction work. Kayla is 21 and is a senior at Winona State University. She is majoring in Social Work and Spanish. Our youngest, Jill, is a Junior at JWP. My husband, Gerry, is a construction worker and farmer. I enjoy teaching at JWP very much. We are a very busy family.
Mrs. Wolff welcomes you to second grade! This is a year of incredible growth for students. They grow in all academic areas, but for many students, reading simply explodes. It is common to go from reading picture books to reading chapter books. This opens the world of learning. Students acquire the power to read to learn. EXCITING!!
